Being eligible for in-state tuition in 4 different states. TFM.

I’m 99.93% sure this can’t really happen. Sure you can own land in 4 states. But in order to receive in-state tuition you have to show proof of living in that state for more than a year (sometimes 2). Like a current job or a residence.

Simple, im from Louisiana, and my Dad owns businesses in North Carolina, Arkansas, and Mississippi, Therefore paying taxes in all four. I declared residency in Mississippi when I turned 18 to go to ole mIss. pretty easy

Agree^ tried that one before. In-state tuition only counts if it’s your primary place of residency. This TFM would only work if u happened to have a house on the Utah, Colorado, new Mexico, and Arizona border…but you don’t.

I hope there’s a second to this post. Such as…”but going to a private university”. TFM

Except for the fact that in-state tuition is based on your permanent residency.

University of Arkansas offers in-state to most students in East Texas, especially the Dallas area.

It’s worked in attracting quality students with money (most of them join fraternities and sororities) to attend Arkansas’ top 25 business school for $8,000 cheaper per year than Texas A&M.

So … they offer lower tuition to attract rich people. Your logic is extremely flawed.

If you have a pulse and live in a state that borders Arkansas, you get in-state tuition.

4400$ a semester, which is the exact same as uta. It’s a pretty great deal

some states allow you to get above a 1250 on your math/reading SAT and get instate(NC,SC, maryland, VA, what totals to 16 states in the south region) you have to do paperwork for it, but its possible, for him to only be able for 4 means he got around a 900. “academic common market” look it up
