Great cutters, fuel, and choice of dip, but I have to point out that your “cohiba” there is a fake knock-off from the real thing. Dominican Republic bullshit = NF in the least bit, that cigar tastes like asshole not to mention the makers mark one…
Sack up and get the real thing.
Ever since Fidel stepped down production and quality have suffered terribly in Cuba. Smoked a Cohiba in the DR. Better than any Cuban Cohiba I’ve had in the past 5 years.
Horrible selection of cigars, get rid of the shitty lighter and cutter and get something truly FaF like an S.T. Dupont Lighter and a Xicar Limited Edition Cutter.
You’re actually wrong. I was told that although you CAN light a cigar with matches, a jet butane lighter is the BEST way because you don’t chance getting a sulfur taste from the match heads.
actually, Cohiba Siglo IV’s (probably the best stick out there now) are not wrapped in cedar. Butane is more than a sufficient way to light your sticks.
Actually I rub two sticks together really fast hoping to get a slight spark then I add moss to get the flame then i slowing stick the cigar into the small fire to light it.
to “Dick Van DKE,” no butane lighter is acceptable. The butane is the reason why we don’t use them, it kills the taste with butane gas. Diamond matches don’t use sulfur in their heads. It’s simply wood with phosphorous and a light igniting chemical that burns away by the time the match is fully lit, this makes diamonds matches acceptable to light a cigar with and convenient.
butane is odorless and tasteless, dumbass. that’s why people use it for lighting cigars. purists go with cedar sticks, but either works fine. for the record, if you’re on the golf course, a butane lighter is the only way to go to combat the wind
Butane lighters tend to be the easiest and best way to light a cigar. While cedar spills are a nice way to infuse a cedar taste into cigars, it is one of many ways to light up. I’m actually friends with the president of Cohiba (and the rest of the gentleman at General Cigar) and he uses butane just like the rest of the professionals in the tobacco industry. To say that a cigar must be wrapped in cedar for it to be worth anything is simply not true. My humidor is filled with Fuente Fuente Opus X and Padron Anniversary, neither is wrapped in cedar and both are considered to be some of the top cigars in the world.
your father must’ve been a legend my friend.

14 years ago at 10:49 amYou obviously dont know a thing about cigars. The imported Dominican Cohibas are shit compared to the true Cubans.
14 years ago at 6:16 amEver since Fidel stepped down production and quality have suffered terribly in Cuba. Smoked a Cohiba in the DR. Better than any Cuban Cohiba I’ve had in the past 5 years.

14 years ago at 12:09 pmYou must be a pussy.
14 years ago at 6:57 pmYes, Im either a pussy or just victim to a family that has lost multiple men to tobacco-related deaths. I’ll go with the latter, Deputy Dipshit.
That being said, please shut the fuck up since you know nothing. Go get hazed or something, goat.

14 years ago at 7:06 pmTrying way to hard man.
14 years ago at 8:52 pmFirst of all, you misspelled “Xikar” and they don’t have an LE cutter.
14 years ago at 10:45 pmSecond of all, Duponts are known for their shitty quality.
I hate to be “that guy” but anyone worth his salt knows you should light a good cigar with matches, not a lighter.
Other than that, this picture is FaF.
14 years ago at 7:17 pmYou’re actually wrong. I was told that although you CAN light a cigar with matches, a jet butane lighter is the BEST way because you don’t chance getting a sulfur taste from the match heads.
14 years ago at 7:28 pmActually, you geeds are both wrong. You light cigars with a cedar stick.
14 years ago at 8:15 pmyou light cigars with a pledge, come on guys
14 years ago at 10:02 pmAgreed. If your cigar is not encased in a cedar stick for lighting purposes, you might as well keep your money and go find a more acceptable one.
14 years ago at 10:03 pmactually, Cohiba Siglo IV’s (probably the best stick out there now) are not wrapped in cedar. Butane is more than a sufficient way to light your sticks.
14 years ago at 10:44 pmIt’s a fucking cigar, shut up and smoke it, who gives a shit how you light it?
14 years ago at 11:22 pmActually I rub two sticks together really fast hoping to get a slight spark then I add moss to get the flame then i slowing stick the cigar into the small fire to light it.
