Olympic Race Walker Poops Pants, Wipes With Sponge, Throws It At Crowd Before Collapsing

French speedwalker Yohann Diniz might have drank from the Rio water supply before the gold medal race walk on Friday. Diniz filled his short-shorts with hot wet poop, attempted to plug his leaking bunghole with a sponge, then threw the sponge at spectators before collapsing.

Race walking is a real Olympic sport, and the gold medal walk took place this morning in Rio. Yohann Diniz was representing his country of France in the 50k speedwalk, but appeared to have a serious problem while leading the race. Diniz seemed to have a severe gastrointestinal issue, and onlookers said he looked to be in visible pain. According to Deadspin, he shoved “a sponge down his pants to soak up wet fecal matter,” then “[threw] the sponge off toward the crowd.”

I feel for the guy, but goddamn that video had me dying. The close up on his swiveling hips as liquid turd smeared all over the place. Just a savage move by the BBC camera guy.

Unfortunately, the incident wasn’t just embarrassing—it was dangerous. Diniz collapsed on the track shortly after. Apparently, he finished six minutes behind the leader.

Respect. The man crapped himself in front of the whole world and still finished the race. Fuck the video that’s all over Facebook of the girl who tripped and brought an opponent down with her — finishing with a busted knee is nowhere near as inspiring as crossing the finish line with a pile of grumpy in your trousers..
