Orioles-White Sox Finale Will Be Played In Front Of ZERO Fans Due To Riots

Congrats, Baltimore. Look what you did, you little jerks. You’ve officially done your part in messing with America’s pastime. We’ve already seen it affect America’s game not once, but twice! The riots in the streets have caused the first two games of the White Sox – Orioles series to be postponed. The madness has to stop. It must stop. Do it for the game of baseball and Camden.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the MLB has decided that it will play the third and final game of the series on Wednesday. However, this comes with a catch: zero fans will be allowed in the stands. The Orioles issued the following official press release:

Damn shame.

Not only are no fans allowed to go watch the game tomorrow, their scheduled home series against the Rays this weekend is being played at the Trop — with Baltimore being the home team. This is why we can’t have nice things, Baltimore.

When is someone going to tell the citizens of Baltimore that Grand Theft Auto free roam is not applicable to the real world?

The weekend series against the Rays will be in St. Pete not Tampa* lap me if you must but, at least for now, the Rays still play in St. Pete.

Something tells me the people rioting in Baltimore are not huge baseball fans anyway.

I said lack, not absence. And maybe it’s a cultural thing but if you told a shark that hokey was their big break into professional sports, they would still be pissed.

It probably would’ve been hard for the rioters to get the afternoon off from work, anyways.
