      Although he did have very socialist policies, it was at a time when the entire country needed a big government to get us out of the shithole we got ourselves into. Got us out of the depression, and his leadership helped us unite as a country to stop hitler. Getting the job done is FaF

      too bad fdr policies extended the great depression. an economist at ucla, that should be a liberal enough school for you, said it was extended by 7 years. Also the wall street journal, which you should be familiar with if you are indeed a fratstar, had an article about the 5 big myths regarding the great depression. One being that we needed the gov to “rescue” us.
