Penn State Chipotle Closes After Mass Employee Walkout, Students Will Fucking Starve
The flagship Chipotle of Penn State University–the only one in State College, actually–is officially closed for business, and because of this, the basic bitches of Penn State are officially on starvation watch.
The Twitter account of Onward State, a student-run university blog, posted the below picture of a sign taped to Chipotle’s front door.

I have zero knowledge of the inner-workings of a Chipotle or how their staffs are treated, and I’ve never been to the State College location, but “borderline sweatshop conditions”? Really? You get to work in air-conditioning and stuff your face with Chipotle burritos all day. How bad can it really be?

i actually don’t like chipotle, but i am going to comment, stating a few valid points, which raise many questions in my mind. i prefer moe’s and they have free queso day coming up this thursday, but if i’m with my white girl, christina agularia, then i’ll get moe’s to-go and eat it while we sit inside of chipotle. really though, i prefer to fly to an authentic mexican restaurant, because really it’s not authentic. what slave wages were they working and why was it not reported to the BBB or the us government first? where will these employees work in the meantime and will these people become local celebrities in the process? i actually like chipotle sometimes if i put it in the fridge and heat it up in the microwave the next day for anywhere between 1-2 mins. black beans, white rice, chicken, medium, corn, sour cream, cheese and guac, yes i know it’s extra, burrito with chips and lemonade, yeah this is hotfratsoup, signing off.
