BREAKING: Insane Video Shows Tuscaloosa Police Pulling Guy From Apartment, Tasing, Beating Him

Details surrounding the below encounter with Tuscaloosa PD are sure to start leaking, but at this point, we have basically zero context.

What is apparent, however, is that the man seen being tased and beaten after getting ripped out of an apartment doesn’t appear to be resisting arrest. At all. According to the tweet, the police arrived due to a noise complaint. Again, though, we have no way of confirming the validity of this claim.

But damn.

At one point in the video, you can see the victim holding his hands up in an “I’m not fucking resisting” gesture as he is being tased. Soon after, the baton comes out (could be a flashlight – hard to tell) and he is taking a beating as the glow of the taser is still seen flickering.

A second video has emerged, as well, allegedly showing the beginning of the incident from inside the apartment.


We’ll update the story as details emerge.

UPDATE: Two more videos emerge.

The first video shows the extended version of the sequence of events leading up to the arrests. The second is from the perspective of the female in the video. She is recording as she’s slammed to the ground and cuffed.

UPDATE 2: Victim identified as Brandon Williford, a Sigma Chi at the University of Alabama.

Williford was charged with harassment, obstruction, and resisting arrest.

    Look, we need to keep this in perspective. We saw only maybe 3 minutes of what happened that night. Why are we jumping to conclusions right now? We’re just as bad as the black lives matter group, making hasty generalizations with only a minuscule amount of evidence that could, quite possibly, be tainted or biased or paint a picture of what really didn’t happen. I’m not making my decision, I have what I think happened, but I don’t truly know, and neither do any of you.

    Pigs these days have really mastered the “stop resisting” act. Might as well be a green light to beat the hell out of anyone they want. Blatantly assaults a by-standing kid while trying to rip out the one who’s shirt he is grabbing.

    Every person here complaining that this is police brutality (which it seems to be) would say the kid deserved it if he was black. Stop playing the race card.

    This “outrage” is damn stupid, learn to respect authority, even if they are 100% wrong DO NOT resist being arrested, DO NOT allow your friends to get into an arguing match with an officer and tell whoever is whining about what is happening to be quiet, all of that bullshit is only going to escalate an already shitty situation further as seen here. Let them arrest you illegally and then make a civilian complaint, ultimately the case will be thrown out and the officer will have to answer for his actions. Why don’t people get that cops are an authority figure who are at times wrong, there would have been no reason for that kid to get arrested (hence giving you a great argument against him) had everyone listened and not gotten in the middle of it.

    Haven’t commented on TFM in awhile.. felt I needed to chime in on this one. Got arrested in Tuscaloosa a while back, strictly for wearing a jacket of the opposing team. The police there were insanely brutal, this doesn’t come to a shock to me at all if you’ve dealt with police officers from this town you’d expect something like this. Glad someone got this on tape.
