President Of Theta Chi At UVA Passes Away Over Weekend

We bring you sad news out of Virginia. Over the weekend, Quentin Alcorn, a fourth-year engineering student and president of Theta Chi, passed away in Richmond. According to the medical examiner’s office, the cause of his death is pending.

Quentin had just finished his third year at UVA. He was a two-time VISAA state champion wrestler in high school. His passion for wrestling led him to volunteering as a coach for a number of high school teams in the Charlottesville area. He also helped out as a volunteer at The Madison House.

The chapter sent out this letter to Theta Chi Members:

It is sad to hear of his tragic passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends, family, and the Greek community at UVA.

I’m from the same hometown as Tucker Hipps, the Clemson student who passed last fall. It’s always sad to lose someone so young who has had such a positive impact. Prayers up for his friends and family

Prayers to him and his family, also praying this doesn’t become another story where the fraternity is called into question and is wrongfully blamed for loss of a great brother.

      That being said, R.i.p brother.

R.I.P. Mr. Alcorn. You undoubtedly left a good legacy. When we lose good men like Quentin, the world seems a little less bright.
