President Ronald Reagan’s 100th Birthday
Today we honor Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday, with a look back at the 40th President of the United States.
Reagan is a conservative icon, an old-school Republican who pushed small government and made jokes about the commies in Russia.
He took shots at hippies: “A tree’s a tree. How many more do you need to look at?”
He demanded tax cuts and invented Reaganomics: “I have only one thing to say to the tax increasers: Go ahead, make my day.”
He also hazed the media with his fratitude: “Before I refuse to take your questions, I have an opening statement.”
After Reagan was shot in an assassination attempt by some GDI, he joked with his wife: “Honey, I forgot to duck.”
