Ohio University knocks off the 2011 winner, University of Georgia, for the 2012 title of Top Party School in the Country. Georgia drops to #2 in the list followed by fellow SEC member Ole Miss.

It’s actually cute that you’re so jealous your school cannot live up to ours. Also, come experience Athens for yourself. We aren’t known for our Halloween party or spring fest for no reason. Don’t try to write off somewhere you haven’t even experienced which in this case is the hottest socializing scene in the Nation 🙂 Keep hating it only makes all of you look bad. Instead just try to live up to our reputation I dare ya!

Then the next year they didn’t even make the list, prompting an outpouring of mail from OU students. In their next issue they said they didn’t put OU on the list because they were so far ahead of the other schools it wasn’t even fair to rank them.

13 years ago at 8:42 pmI visited OU during one of the spring fests and its the most disgusting dirty place I’ve ever been. The girls are white trash and the boys look diseased. There may have been more people at the fests, but greek SEC tailgates after big games are 10 times more fun and wild. Ill take my lower spot on the list and you can keep your herpes.

I dont care if your from the south and think schools above the mason are NF, it truly is something to experience.

13 years ago at 10:18 pmand actually, we got to OU because we aren’t “suckeyes” or bratty bitches.. We are down to earth and know how to party. And if we are so “trashy” and “disgusting looking” why on earth would we been known as having an attractive school body. I have heard SEVERAL people call OU a “haven for hot blondes” on many a different college ranking website. Also, pike is DEF not top tier. They are basically absent from Greek Life, and I know that personally. My sorority has never socialized with the Pikes here.

However, there are also many true fraternity brothers and hot sorority girls that attend this school. That’s about the two different types of people that go here, not much in between.

Some of the best parties I have ever seen are at schools not on this list, and as a USC student, there is no way in hell WVU is ahead of us in a real ranking of partying. Its a bunch of inbred sluts wearing skanky dresses and guys faking drunkeness in order to impress these “sorostitutes.” Having been to WVU to party once in my life, I can honestly say I will never even drive through Morgantown again. WVU is the school that PA and MD kids apply to as a safety school, in case they get rejected from UMD, PSU, or Pitt.

13 years ago at 9:34 pmThank you. I am from Eastern PA, and like 30% of my grad class goes to WVU, because its easier to get into out of state than Pitt and PSU in state. They talk about how great it is, and it is really a shit hole. I never realized how lucky I am to have applied and been accepted to the schools I was; always figured that all D1 schools were fairly comparable as far as campus appearance and amenities. Well, in hindsight, I could not be happier with my final choice, as it makes schools like WVU look like a Walmart bathroom. (Honestly, I would rather fuck a girl in a Walmart bathroom than in a WVU dorm or fraternity)
