OU sucks. Miami is overall a way better party school. Frat Stars > GDI Hipsters
13 years ago at 10:16 amMy schools on the list, but i dont think this shit really matters, as long as your school has bars/fraternities to party at, then any self-respecting man in the greek community should be able to rage
13 years ago at 10:22 amNormally Kansas is on the list of top party schools, easily. I guess our geeds didn’t fill out the surveys well enough. To be honest though, these are always completely off and are pretty much just gay as hell
13 years ago at 10:51 amUT number 10? ya okay
13 years ago at 11:02 amOkay, bottom line every school can party hard at certain times but there are only a select few that truly take it to another level on a consistant basis. and i think most of us who have been around the country know who they are
Big Schools ( in no order) :
Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia, UT (Texas), Florida, and UW (Wisconsin)
Small Schools (in no order): Wofford, Sewanee, Washington & Lee, Hampden-Sydney, and Depauw (IN)
This is just how it is, these schools are on another level. How do i know this ? because it’s part of my job to travel to almost every school with an active nightlife. I am lucky enough to have experienced almost every decent school in the nation (some more than others). But these schools have always been on another level, Like it or not those are the elite, sorry im not sorry
13 years ago at 11:10 amI have been to and partied at 7 out of 11 of these schools. W&L easily takes the cake when it comes to small schools and Wofford is pretty good. I can’t judge Wisconsin cause I’ve never been there, but Florida? Come on now, behind Miss St. and Arkansas Florida is least fratiest school in the SEC.
13 years ago at 12:50 pmflorida is insane, there is so much energy on that campus all the time. given there are some guidos and jort wearing mouthbreathers but you can find them at any school. florida is alot like UTexas in that they have a lower percentage of people in the greek system (for SEC standards) but make up for it with an insane amout of bars and crazy parties. not to mention a great gameday experience (not quite on the level of ole miss or bama but come on their in a league of their own). Jim crow hit the nail right on the head. frat on good sir
13 years ago at 1:08 pmAll I’ve seen in the comments is OU students coming out of the woodwork, and disgruntled assholes who have a problem with the list.
13 years ago at 11:46 amI went to OU to visit one time & it was so terrible I drove back home at 5am. There’s no way this list is legitimate. sorry im not sorry. OU? oh no.
13 years ago at 12:18 pmSouth Carolina at #20 is a joke. When both your starting quarterback and your quarterbacks coach are suspended at the same time for drinking too much you deserve a spot in the top 5.
13 years ago at 12:44 pmi hear u of illinois goes harder than an 11 spot
13 years ago at 12:51 pmu of i is aweful, IU and UW are way better. sorry but you heard wrong
13 years ago at 1:03 pmnot as awful as ur spelling. ive been to all those schools and the other ones may throw better parties sometimes but those u of i kids hit up the bars all night and never stop. Bars are only 19 there i think
13 years ago at 1:25 pmAthens, OH is the double-A club for the Athens, GA minor league system.
