Pro Tip: If You Want To Be A Successful Drug Dealer, Don’t Have 1,000 Xanax Pills Delivered To A Sorority House
This story is HOT off the presses and very little information is publicly available at the moment, especially since the only link to said information I’m able to find is from a news outlet that requires a paid subscription to read articles in their entirety.
We do know, however, that a 20-year-old Indiana University student named Andrew David Thrall is a local pill pusher who had 1,000 Xanax pills delivered to the Alpha Chi Omega sorority house and was arrested soon after. He was charged with dealing in a controlled substance. That’s all I know.
From Times-Mail:
An Indiana University student charged with receiving 1,000-pill shipments of Xanax in the mail and then reselling then on campus was arrested Tuesday and charged with dealing in a controlled substance.
According to Indiana Universrity Police Department spokesman Lt. Craig Munroe, 20-year-old Andrew David Thrall allegedly ordered the anti-anxiety drug online and in bulk from a Canadian pharmacy and had several shipments mailed to IU’s Alpha Chi Omega sorority house at 1000 N. Jordan Ave.
I’m only left with a few theories as to how and why this went down, the prevailing one being that he used his poor, innocent girlfriend (presumably a resident of the AXO house) as an unknowing intermediary in his drug dealing scheme. He receives the shipment at a home where a clan of ditzy sorority babes (again, this is a theory – not saying anyone is ditzy) live, he slips in, grabs the merch, dips out, then hits the quad ready to peddle pills.
???
Profit.
However, I believe someone at the AXO house opened up his package before he was able to get his shady little hands on it. She saw what was in it, reported it to authorities, then the rest is history. This is absolutely definitely not how it went down..

Best of luck to you Andrew Thrall. We recreational xanny folks appreciate the risks you take to create a market.

11 years ago at 4:42 pmWhat dipshit drug dealer uses the mail? Next time do yourself a favor and get a P.O. box, Andy.
11 years ago at 4:45 pmActually a lot of em do bubby.
11 years ago at 5:24 pmMail is actually better than PO box because a PO box you have to actively go get so they can watch you for a controlled delivery anytime you go to get your mail from the box. If they send it to your house, they generally won’t open it before and even if they do, they’ll do a real controlled delivery and ask you to sign for it before arresting you because until you accept it, it isn’t yours. If that happens, you just don’t accept the package. Sure you’ll lose the money but won’t get arrested.

11 years ago at 4:47 pmSo why has AXO not been kicked off for 1000 years yet?
Seems like if this was all sent to a fraternity house, campus would have kicked them off faster than Dorno could slip a bar into a kid’s drink…
11 years ago at 4:48 pmAndrew is a delt and his house and the AXO house were raided by the DEA today. Believe me, they arent getting off scott free and the girl they were shipped to is facing jail time as well
