And here’s reason #58,433 why the ocean is a terrifying place.

I remember watching some Shark Week show about Bull Sharks and their ability to swim upstream into canals, rivers, tributaries, etc. and live for quite a long time. They can even survive in fresh water for weeks on end. They’re also the most aggressive sharks on the planet. That always stuck with me for some reason.

This lady in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina probably didn’t watch that same show, but now she too can appreciate the nature of this magnificent beast, except her story bitches mine in a big way. This video is just terrifying.

Almost as awesome as the bull shark was the dialogue that ensued afterward. I tried to capture the noteworthy parts, and I’m pretty sure it went something like this:

“Oh, shit!”

“Oh shit, it’s a shark!”

“Oh, Jesus Christ!”

“Son of a bitch, it’s a shark!”

“It’s a shark!”

“A shark!”

“It’s a big ass shark!”

“It’s on your pole, baby. Keep reeling. Keep reeling.”

“I got that on camera!!!”

“He got that on camera!!!”
