^^Who was the genius to place the crest in a location where it can even be looked down at? That should never happen! I think most brother’s if not all would agree that the crest should ALWAYS, be placed in a position where it can be looked UP upon. Your just mad because you got called on it.
That crest has been there longer than we have been alive, so why the fuck take the time to remove it when we could just keep it nice and respect it. It’s not like the extra step we take to go around it bothers us.

And uncomfortable to walk around? Never heard that, it actually lets people know the level of respect that we expect from brothers and guests as well when in our fraternity.
Ok old number 7, how bout this. When you take a pledge class to temple in Chicago to have them initiated the crest is presented on a little stand that is about 3ft tall… thus everybody is looking down at it, and that’s nationals son!!!
Ya….after being to nationals almost every semester for the past 4 years for initiations the coat of arms is not any higher than your waist during the ritual….stop the arguing brothers! PA to all…boiler up
