Ah, young love. It’s a beautiful thing, isn’t it?

I consider the confines of Twitter to be a pretty dark place, so I find it very heartening to know there are people out there using it for actually getting to know others with respectable intentions, you know, like for stuff other than exchanging nudies and propagating sexual encounters.

Former TCU Horned Frog and current Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Jordan Daigle became infatuated with Oklahoma State safety Zack Craig during a Cowboys-Sooners game in which she saw him on television. Then, she did what any normal 20-something would do in that situation — she hollered at him over Twitter. Now, they are dating.

Soon, her friend was clicking away on her computer and located Craig’s Twitter profile. She advised Daigle to follow him.

‘That’s so weird, I don’t even know him,’ she said.

Such a sweetheart this girl is.

You gotta learn the Twitter game, Jordan. You don’t have to know the attractive person in the Twitter avatar before you follow them, and believe me, the guy will not think it’s weird if you do. You just follow the fuck out of him and figure out who the hell he is later, and in turn, they’ll figure out who you are. It’s like casting a line out there, and if your avatar is strong enough, that’s the kind of bait no man will resist nibbling on.

I think I speak for all guys on Twitter when I say this is how they operate. If a guy gets followed by a pretty young lady, I’m willing to bet the first thing they do in response is to start creeping on her photos. It’s a quick and simple vetting process. Gotta ensure that attractive person in the 1/2″ x 1/2″ thumbnail image is a solid representative of the rest of the batch.

But really, good for these kids, and good luck focusing on your season with this kinda action walking around, Zach.
