We all love Ronald Reagan. He’s an American icon. But what does Reagan lack? A movie.

That’s about to change, as a script just titled “Reagan” has hit the Hollywood scene.

From Variety:

Penned by Mike Rosolio, the story begins at the start of the ex-president’s second term when he falls into dementia and an ambitious intern is tasked with convincing the commander in chief that he is an actor playing the president in a movie.

Who is going to play the president? None other than Will Ferrell.

Sources tell Variety Ferrell is attached to star as President Ronald Reagan in the Black List script “Reagan.”

Ferrell is no stranger to portraying presidential figures in a humorous form. You’ve seen his skits as George W. Bush on Saturday Night Live. Those were gold.

Apparently, Ferrell will also be producing the movie. I, for one, can’t wait to see it..
