Ronda Rousey Agrees To Go On Date With Marine, Says He Won’t Get Any

Remember when U.S. Marine Jarrod Haschert asked Ronda Rousey to the Marine Corps Ball? Well, she said yes.

Haschert was unsure of whether Rousey would go to the dance, held in December, especially since she had an upcoming fight with Holly Holm in January. But now, the fight has been pushed up to November, and she’s down for the cause.

From Complex Sports:

“I would go for sure,” she said. “Do I call him? Or do I set up a time and place like Never Been Kissed and wait until the clock runs out and be like, ‘I’m here’?”

I don’t know how you track Rousey down, but you better get on that, Haschert. Also, if you were planning on grappling with the MMA superstar between the sheets, I hate to break it to you, but…

“He’s cute,” she said. “He’s gotta be a gentleman, though. I’m not a first date kind of girl.”

Pssht. I wouldn’t let that discourage you, Haschert. That’s what they all say. Besides, say you’re holding her in your arms as you gently sway back and forth on the dance floor to “Wonderwall,” your eyes locked, when your lips meet halfway for a kiss. What’s the worst that could happen if you attempt a slide into second?
