Seahawks Fans Believe Russell Wilson Plays Better When Sad, Raise Money So He And Ciara Will Break Up
Seattle Seahawks fans are not pleased with their team’s 0-2 start, nor are they content with their quarterback’s apparent general happiness. They believe the way to get their QB back to his winning ways is to get him nice and depressed.
A GoFund page was created to raise $50,000 so his girlfriend, out-of-work musician Ciara, will leave Wilson. Seahawks fans I guess feel that Ciara is financially dependent upon Wilson, and that’s the only reason she’s staying with him. I buy it. The 50k is to provide her the financial means to start anew, sans Russ.
I love how nutty sports fans can get. Absolute psychos. They don’t care that these athletes are real people with real lives and real families. They need an edge and they’ll do anything to get it. The team isn’t winning? Let’s wreck our star player’s relationship. I love it.
This one may actually have merit, though. Rumors swirled earlier this year that Wilson’s ex-wife was engaged in an affair with former teammate Golden Tate, leading to their divorce. Tate vehemently denies the allegations, but the part that matters is they went through an ugly divorce, while Wilson played fucking awesome. Tumultuous home life = winning football. It’s that simple.
