SEC Attempts to Steal Big 12 Legacy?

OKLAHOMA—Barry Sanders Jr. may be a lifelong Oklahoma State University fan because his father played ball there, but that doesn’t mean a face-to-face with Nick Saban won’t sway the recruit. Saban visited the Heritage Hall campus on Wednesday in an alleged attempt to convince the Big 12 legacy to attend the 2010 BCS National Championship winning University. Apparently, Sanders Jr. plans on attending junior day for Alabama, and is recovering from foot surgery.

Yeah because I’m sure the son of the best college football running back to ever play the game is 3rd string at best.

Please learn the rules of recruiting before you open that hole under your nose. Please elaborate to us why this is a violation. I’ll hang up and listen.

“A college coach is only permitted to contact you in person off the college campus only on or after July 1st when you have completed your junior year of high school. If the coach meets with you or your parents and says anything to you or them then this is considered a contact. Anything more than a very basic hello is a contact.”

      100% violation

      Well,

It’s a recruiting violation because head coaches are barred from having off-campus visits with recruits until they’ve finished their junior year in high school. Coaches are not allowed to have contact, so to speak, unless the recruit comes to the school’s campus…in this case, that craphole you call Tuscaloosa. It’s also one of the reasons the NCAA created the Saban “Bump” Rule.
