See That IT Guy? He’s Probably Getting Some On the Sly

According to a new survey done by AshleyMadison.com, a “dating” website for married people trying to have an affair, the most common professional men stepping out on their wives are IT/Engineers. Here’s the top four:

IT/Engineer (10.6%)
Financial Industry (8.2%)
Education (6.5%)
Doctors (4.6%)
Lawyers (3.8%)

There is one glaring problem with this whole survey though, all the people surveyed were members of AshleyMadison.com. That fact begins to allow this whole story to make sense. Of course IT guys are using a website to have extramarital affairs. A doctor doesn’t have time to set up some sketchy, super secret online dating profile. He just slams a nurse or some random at a bar who’s impressed by the fact that he’s a doctor and moves on. If I found out my lawyer was cheating on his wife via a dating website I’d immediately seek new counsel. That’s why God invented things like secretaries or impressionable law students.

This information is about as surprising as finding out that the top profession of people who cruise creepy adult/child chatrooms is ice cream truck driver.
