Shooter McGavin Arrested For DWI In North Carolina

It has really been downhill for Shooter ever since he lost that gold jacket in ’96. Well, except that tragically Shooter McGavin isn’t a real human being, rather a character portrayed by an actor named Christopher McDonald, one of the hardest working guys in Hollywood (he’s seriously never not in something). McDonald, as the TFM crew found out a few months ago when the actor visited Austin, is a big fan of partying. The guy was having himself a night on 6th Street when we ran into him. And by “having himself a night,” I mean he started drinking around like 6pm and raged until closing time. Here are a few snapshots of his drunk face, which the arresting officer no doubt got a good look at.

In that last picture McDonald, had easily at least a 0.15, which is the BAC recorded when he was arrested, as well.

Christopher McDonald, 58, is charged with driving while impaired. Troopers said McDonald’s blood-alcohol level was 0.15, almost twice the legal limit of 0.08.

McDonald was taken into custody at about 1:45 a.m. on Third Street, according to the Wilmington Star News. He was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.

Thankfully for McDonald, a few voiceovers for Cialis commercials should pay off whatever expenses he incurs thanks to this legal indiscretion.
