Sigma Chi Brothers Fulfill Mother’s Last Wish In Video That Will Make Grown Men Cry

I usually shy away from covering anything serious, but this one really got to me and I had to share it.

From FOX 13:

Leslie Ward Corbett, whose mother is very ill, said her mom’s last wish is to have a special song played at her funeral.

The family came up with a surprise instead.

Corbett said her mom loves the song, “Sweetheart of Sigma Chi,” and her brother and nephew, who are members of the Sigma Chi fraternity, pulled together a tear-jerking private performance for her.

Getting misty eyed back here in this cubicle, you guys. My hat goes off to Sigma Chi at the University of Utah and everybody else involved. You’ve made a woman’s last wish come true..
