Guy In Tennessee Bags World Record Holding 47-Point Buck

I’ve seen my fair share of bucks in my time in the tree stand, but I’ve never seen anything like this.

Using a muzzle loader, Stephen Tucker, a 27-year-old from Gallatin, Tennessee, bagged a buck with an impressive 47-point rack in Sumner County back in November. 47 points. Let that sink in. This thing is an absolute monster. Kind of makes your 8 or 10-pointer seem a little bit inadequate, doesn’t it?

The rack was scored at 312 and 3/8th inches, beating out the previous world record, a 38-pointer at 307 and 5/8th inches. While Tucker took the buck down back in November, it couldn’t be verified as a world record holder until after it was given 60 days to dry out and shrink, a requirement that was met earlier this week.

Tucker doesn’t just get bragging rights, though. The antlers are estimated to be worth over $100,000. Whether he decides to sell them is his call, but if it were me, I think I’d have to keep them. Talk about a conversation piece.

Like any good hunter, Tucker had the deer processed and, as you would expect, is fully intent on eating it. Deer backstraps are always good, but something tells me they’re probably a little bit better when they come from a deer with a six figure set of antlers.

I’m definitely keeping the antlers on the wall if I’m him. Unmatchable trophy.

Friend of mine shot a state record and they offer to match it with a replica in most cases like this

I was talking to my professor who got his PhD in deer research and whats interesting about this buck is that to get this wild set of antlers, he was probably hit in the antlers in his velvet stage with shotgun pellets when he was young. The damage caused is permanent, even on new sets of antlers, and the result is the many points in different directions. Combined with a great habitat, you get a world record. Fuck this sounded nerdy.

good shot Poot! I could easily come up with something more conversation worthy given $100,000.

Jesus Christ that guy looks inbred even by Tennessee standards! That $100,000 should let him expand his front porch so he can fit more washing machines on it, plus let him put a few more cars up in blocks in the front yard.

Two old boys from Tennessee went deer hunting and one accidentally shot the other. He carried his friend to the hospital, and as the doctors wheeled him into the operating room he asked, “Do you think he’ll make it?” “I don’t know,” the doctor replied. “He’d have a better chance if you hadn’t field dressed him before you brought him in!”
