TBT: America’s Reaction To Landon Donovan’s Greatest World Cup Goal

That’s completely untrue. I follow the Premier League intently (Chelsea), it’s by far my favorite sport to follow. I watch it every week with maybe 30 other guys, I’d say 20 of whom are American, 10 are English living in and around NYC. Of the 20 Americans, 1 roots for Germany because “he’s German.” The rest, including me, root for the U.S. And when the World Cup comes around, we give that traitor a boat load of shit too.

Honestly American World Cup soccer is trash. Everyone knows that Germany is the best

Still get chills watching this. Fuck every American who doesn’t support the U.S. during the World Cup. You don’t have to watch the World Cup, but if you do, and you support another country, fuck you. I actually love soccer, not just for one month every 4 years.- I get a lot of Americans don’t, but I don’t really give a shit. I can’t wait for next month. Lot of early mornings in packed bars, and not remembering getting home in store.

Slipped on the hardwood floors and put my foot through a kitchen cabinet celebrating this goal and I have the scars to prove it. It doesn’t matter if Donovan is in bad form recently, you put him on the roster because A) he deserves to play in his last World Cup, and B) He’s proved himself to be able to perform when it counts at the highest level. Fucking Disgraceful to leave him off.
