Amen! TCU, your program is so young and small it’s not even out of the womb, Texas is a 35 year old man already in retirement.
Yes, Texas did poorly this year. For the first time in 10 years and 162 consecutive weeks we dropped out of the Top 25 AP Polls. That’s the longest consecutive record in the country.
Texas currently has the second most wins of any school behind Michigan, with 845. Get on our level tCU(NT).
One bad year and everyone has to talk shit. UT football sucked this year, but tcu football just became relevant again. TCU still needs another couple decades of winning to enter UTs level. I would love to see TCU actually sell out Amon Carter as well. Yalls attendance is a joke. Team goes 12-0 in DFW and can’t even get 30,000 to some games? Give me a break.
Please do some research before you start talking your own shit. TCU sold out 3 games this season and was close to selling out the other home games as well. Also, I believe we were part of a sold out game on the road in Utah. I realize we’ve had attendance issues in the past, but seriously, that’s not a good argument this season.
Too bad we had several sell outs this year, and we’ve already sold all of our Rose Bowl tickets. How many of Tickets has Texas sold to it’s bowl game?…. Oh wait.
15 teams out there could go undefeated with TCU’s schedule. It’s a damn shame a more deserving team isn’t playing in the Rose Bowl. Relying on other schools to lose to get to the national championship = NF.
its a shame being a texas student actually rooting for yall to make it to the national title game…now that i realize yall are douchebags im glad wisconcon is gonna mop the floor up with yall…ps we sucked and still averaged 100,000 a game. amon carter finally is getting fixed and it still cant sniff 100,000
i’d probably tap the brakes on the “program crumble” comment. tcu is one more bcs bowl loss away from becoming irrelevant nationally, if they are in fact relevant now.
although i think texas has crumbled i would pay anything to see TCU have a schedule like texas, or in fact any other team in the SEC, Pac 10, Big 12, big ten and even the ACC
anyone that says or believes this will either A. be bagging the groceries my butler buys for me or B. cleaning up my dogs shit as my butler supervises to make sure you get every piece.
Surely, you must realize that it’s only a matter of time before Texas rebuilds. Y’all had 2 or 3 up years, cool. How many national championships do you have?
Also, 61-21-1 all time vs. TCU. Who is the best team in Texas (not just this year)?
Talk when you actually win a BCS game. Also, joining the Big East to “legitamize” your program is a joke.

14 years ago at 5:11 pmWell, we sold our 18,000 allotment for the National Championship game we were in last fall. How’d the Tostitos Toilet Bowl work out for y’all?

14 years ago at 10:40 pmLo at the Texas kid calling his own conference’s bowl game the toilet bowl.
There’s no sense in bashing your own bowl when your conference winner goes straight to it for its AQ bid

14 years ago at 11:19 pmWatching non-AQ conference teams be set back over 25 years during the Rose Bowl. TFM.
14 years ago at 3:51 pmAnyone who doesn’t think Texas will be competing for championships within the next year or two is a GDI.

14 years ago at 6:43 amTCU. NF. 10 consecutive seasons of ten wins or more (in the Big 12). TFM
14 years ago at 5:10 pmHow’d that work out for you this year? What bowl are y’all playing in? How many coaches have left in the last week? Oh… ok.
14 years ago at 5:34 pmAnd yet, when you lose to a Big Ten team, we’ll still be the Joneses and you’ll still be the help.
