Richard BROdhead You are correct in general, 4H for snowy *roads*. OP said, however, that he switched to 4L because he was “cutting through a ditch,” in which case it is totally appropriate. I just hope he remembered to switch back after the short off-road jaunt. 14 years ago at 10:45 am
