Texas A&M Football Signee Poses For Photos With Stack Of Cash

As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, a college football player will pose for photos with a stack(s) of cash every damn year. The first culprit of 2013 is Texas A&M signee Justin Granger, a defensive tackle from Dallas, TX.

This will surely impress his new teammates and coaching staff. Posting photos of this nature before you even set foot on a practice field or attend a team meeting is a great way to win them over.

Here is Justin Granger’s instagram:

It’s really hard to tell how much cash that is. I see a couple twenties and a one, I think. A couple grand maybe? However much it is, I know it’s not part of his stipend.

But let’s back up for a second here. I’m not saying young Granger accepted any cash from an A&M booster — a direct, flagrant NCAA violation. I’m not even suggesting or implying it. For all I know the kid just returned from a very fruitful gambling bender at one of Oklahoma’s Indian reservation casinos. But no matter how he acquired it, releasing this photo makes him a ‘dumber than shit’ candidate. You can almost hear the chatter starting to roar about this, or maybe that’s coach Kevin Sumlin yelling on the phone with his promising defensive line prospect.

Smarts don’t run in the family, apparently. Justin’s older brother, DeMarcus Granger, a former defensive tackle at the University of Oklahoma, was arrested just before the Sooners’ bowl game in 2007 for shoplifting at a Burlington Coat Factory in Glendale, Arizona.

Just a chip off the ole block.
