When I graduate, my paddle will be hung on the wall next to my father's and grandfather's. TFM.

I’m just making an inference here, but, I’m thinking that he’s a third generation fratter. Is that right?

I think what he meant was that his father and grandfather were on the rowing team at their respective colleges, and he decided to join a fraternity instead.

Needing to be a legacy in order to get a bid is a big NF

More often than not legacies are the weird kids who don’t really belong with the rest of the group

I’m not a legacy, but how do you figure that having a father that was in a fraternity will make his kid weird?

Naw, dude, just apply the logic to other situations, and you’ll see what he means: for example, those Manning boys had an NFL QB for a dad, and look how they turned out. Horrible.

When you graduate you should hang yourself next to your father and grandfather.

And yes, I know hung and hanged are different, but for the sake of the joke, let it slide, okay?
