He never actually advocated secession. At CPAC, a guy in the crowd yelled out “secede” and he just brushed it off with “not what that guy said.” With that said, God bless Texas and I hope Perry wins the nomination.
As much as I would like to see rick run for president as well as many others, he has said that he doesn’t really want to run.
