Why does every post or picture from tech end up in an A&M bashing session? I really don’t understand why KA posted this because from what I can tell nobody from A&M was talking shit about tech… correct me if I’m wrong.
Oh and since you brought up the subject, Tech is only frat because there is nothing to do in Lubbock except drink and have sex. (which is FaF) And the reason A&M isn’t FaF is because it was established as an all male Military Academy and Greek Life is very new there. They also have to deal with an administration and students who are GDI’s and anti-frat. So while saying A&M is NF is a fact, there are reasons why that is true.

Obviously, the numbers lag behind many other schools b/c of its tradition of the corps of cadets and such. However, Texas Tech has no right to bash on anything for A&M. First off you guys have no academic standards what so ever as your university is constantly under academic review and were accepting rejects to Texas State. Which leads to you guys being infamous for getting degrees and working $50,000 a year jobs for life afterward. Have fun working for an Aggie or Longhorn after college. Also, HW has his presidential library here, who do y’all have? FAF. Lastly, I guarantee you that the level of “frattiness” of individuals at A&M is vastly superior to the poor morons who encompass the ITT Tech Greek Life.

They were investigating you because your classes are a joke and aren’t at a college level. Second, Texas Tech has been looking to increase it’s revenue and student body in recent years to keep up with A&M and UT so one solution that solves both of those problems is increase acceptance. Therefore, I’ve had personal accounts of high school graduates in my class and the class after me who were at the bottom of the barrel in academics get denied by Texas State and accepted to TTU.

I was always an aggie fan growing up, my whole family is full of aggies. but Tech offered me a better scholarship so I went there. I didnt expect to enjoy it but loved every minute of it. Now im loving my time in c-stat as well. but that’s beside the point. the point im trying to make is that you need to get your facts straight. tech is not on academic probation. nor do they accept anyone, especially rejects from texas state. my best friend got into arkansas and texas state last year but did not get into tech. what Mad Fratter has said about Texas Tech being one of the top schools for recruitment is true. Tech also has the best Energy Commerce program in the state. And in a state built on oil. That’s saying something. I’m not saying that A&M is not a better school (academically). Because it is. And it should be. It has been around a longer than Tech has and has a lot more alumni. I’m just saying you need to quit kidding yourself. Tech is a lot better school than the people in college station give it credit for. I was very suprised when I moved from Lubbock to C-stat to hear all the crazy ass rumors about Tech. Why does everyone assume that just because we go to Tech that we didn’t get into so called “better schools”? I, in fact, was accepted to all of those schools. I actually got pretty good academic scholarships from them, but I just liked Tech way more. Actually, most people I’ve talked to were the same way. ive been going to texas tech for 3 years and the only time i have heard of “raider rash” is from my friends who are aggies and longhorns. funny shit if it were true. yes, there is a lot of sex happening here. its fucking college. but stds are about as rare here as they are anywhere else, especially among the school and the greek community.
