‘TFM Daily Minutes’ Is The Daily Newsletter You Didn’t Know You Needed

TFM Daily Minutes is a snapshot of the prior day’s best content, delivered to your inbox before you wake up. It’s easy to consume, a quick read, and there are even pictures for those of you who can’t read. The beginning of the email looks something like this:

We are going to summarize the day’s top content, show you a few pics of the TFM Babe of the Day (with a link to more), highlight a few of the top pictures and videos, then present to you our network of podcasts to listen to. Take your phone to the shitter for your morning dump and have a blast in there.

      As well as every other media company on the planet who sends a daily email. We’ve had 100s of thousands of subscribers on our mailing list for years but until now we haven’t had a strong email content strategy and we finally decided to get this going. Not sure what Barstool’s email consists of, but ours is not your typical link dump summary that requires you to click through to a website in order to read the actual story. Most media companies do this because their business is highly focused on driving ad revenue. More website traffic = more ad rev.

      Ad revenue is a very low priority for us because 90%+ of our revenue comes from our owned and operated e-commerce sites, ManOutfitters.com and RowdyGentleman.com. Our goal with these emails is to simply entertaining you directly in your in box to turn casual readers into daily reads.

        Makes sense. While we’re on the topic of growing the brand/content, bring back Bacon, and let him run the video department. I don’t know how unrealistic bringing him back would be at this point, but regardless, you guys really should try doing more video content. It catches more people’s attention, and it is genuinely entertaining.

        I proactively called the Texas Law Hawk on TFMs behalf and got him up to speed. My dad is a lawyer so I’m familiar with the lingo. I didn’t catch exactly what he said, something about pro boner, then he hung up. I’m going to take that as good to go sailboat free on the email.
