Phone is back, and all my SMU kids are wondering why we aren’t getting everyone. The general consensus is we need to increase our recruiting budget. Where’s Sherwood Blount?

I respect the hell out of Ben Davis for rocking the Bear Bryant hat to make his selection.

What the hell is Charlie Strong doing at Texas? Picks up Brandon Jones, flips Erick Fowler from LSU. Are they about to snag another top 10 class?

How about Kirby Smart pulling in three 5-stars so far? The most for UGA since 2001. He’s even stealing them from Bama. Nicky can’t be too pleased about that.

National Signing Day is full of college kids and grown men stalking 18-year-old kids on where they will spend their life for the next 3-5 years. Sounds like the perfect script for Chris Hansen.

I came in to find out that Duke was already done with Signing Day before I even woke up at 7:30…

Not a great start of the day for me. My iPhone is dead. At least I got this sharp Blackberry to use.

Hot start to the greatest morning in college football recruiting as I rolled in here early wearing as much SMU gear as possible so everyone knows that we run this state. In fact, I got a good feeling about SMU’s chances, just look at the recruiting job I did for 3-star DT Mike Williams.

Guy even favorited it so you know he’s going to the Hilltop.

A few guys have already announced on national TV where they are going. Here are those guys (I’m using the star rating from 247sports btw since it’s a composite ranking from other sites):

4-star DT Stephon Taylor: South Carolina

    i’d take Wisconsin over Bama too Saban runs his backs to death so when they make it to the nfl they typically only have 1 or 2 good seasons in them.
