TFM of the Week: Home Run Derby Catch
This replay was shown over and over until The Derby came to a close, clearly solidifying a spot in the Fan Catch Hall of Fame. The guy threw caution to the wind, with a beer in one hand and his glove on the other, as he took a leap of faith into a pool to catch an Adrian Gonzalez homer. Not only was the pool filled with bikini clad smokeshows, but he managed to hold his beer above water (until one of the slams could ensure its safety) after securing the ball. He sacrificed the personal comfort of dryness for glorious poolside stardom. Legends never die.
The fact that you guys are arguing about something as dumb as this makes you NF. End of argument!

13 years ago at 12:21 amThe fact he kept his glove above water to signal he caught the ball while also keeping his beer safe is very impressive.

13 years ago at 8:54 amyes this was a sweet catch, and more than likely he isnt frat, but lets give the guy a hand for not spilling that beer
13 years ago at 5:46 pmLet’s end this…the guy is a GDI. Backwards flatbill, cutoff shirt, flip flops, and possibly cargos (can’t tell, but definitely too long). HOWEVER, that fact aside, this was one of the greatest fan catches I’ve ever seen and he’ll be on highlight reels for a long time. Being famous, jumping in a pool full of slams and saving the beer, FaF. While the guy may not be fratty, he sure had a shining moment.
13 years ago at 6:52 pmGDI’s aren’t capable of performing such actions as this one. TFTC
