The 10 Universities With The Most Adulterous Alumni
Who doesn’t love a good college ranking list? AshleyMadison.com recently put out an interesting ranking entitled “Cheating Universities”, wherein the site polled over 10,000 of its users to discover where they went to college and what they majored in.
If you are unfamiliar with the website, I don’t blame you. AshleyMadison.com assists those who find it difficult to uphold their wedding vows and are actively looking to cheat on their significant others. I imagine that you, like myself, are not married, and that you probably feel worse about drunkenly cheating on your favorite pizza joint than you do accidentally sending a 2:30am “Come over” to Jessica rather than Jennifer.
Once you are out into the big wide world, however, the rules are a little bit different. Things like “spouses” and “fidelity” play a larger role in a post-graduate love life than they ever will in college, but maybe the college you attend could be be teaching you a bit more than you paid for. According to the website’s founder and CEW Noel Biderman, “It’s apparent from our survey that certain campuses offer a climate that’s more conducive to would-be adulterers, typically someone more adventurous and looking to have new experiences.”
Some people just don’t want the party to end, even after they’ve said “I do.” I’m not one to judge, but I will definitely be a little wary if ever find myself in a long-term relationship with somebody from one of these schools:
1. University of Minnesota (7.8%)
2. Arizona State University (7.4%)
3. SUNY Buffalo (6.8%)
4. University of Maryland (5.2%)
5. Ohio State University (3.8%)
6. Florida State University (3.1%)
7. University of Iowa (2.7%)
8. University of Southern California (2.3%)
9. Texas A&M (1.9%)
10. University of Michigan (1.7%)
Final fact: The most common major amongst married people looking to have an affair was psychology.
