The Beach Boys Kill It In This Rare, Previously Unreleased Video
Every once in a while something so spectacular, so unfathomably amazing and inspiring falls in your lap that it forces you drop what you’re doing and share it with others — once you’ve regained composure, of course.
As a shameless Beach Boys fan, I feel I’ve been deprived having never seen this until today.
In this video, a young version of the now old Beach Boys perform a rendition of I Get Around like we’ve never seen. The guitar sounds pristine, the vocals are flawlessly on-pitch, and the clapping/thigh slaps are so rhythmically on-point that your whole body is liable to spontaneously mimic them. The sound quality is surprisingly rich for such an old video, too.
