The Department Of Defense Is Tweeting Before And After Photos Of ISIS Targets The U.S. Bombed
This past week the United States, along with a coalition of Arab nations who would really like to nip this whole Islamic State thing in the bud, began airstrikes on ISIS targets in Syria. Not only has the U.S. responded to ISIS violence against its citizens and the citizens of its allies with force, but it also responded to all that ISIS shade being thrown America’s way on social media with a little Twitter game of their own, in the form of Department of Defense tweets showing before and after pictures of several targets the U.S. and its allies attacked.

To the credit of the sick, terrorist fucks in ISIS, they’ve been pretty adept at using social media, both to show off their accomplishments and to recruit new members. They are surprisingly tech savvy for a group that would like to establish a 9th Century theocracy. And, while this isn’t the first time the U.S. has tweeted out footage of military operations, it definitely makes sense that they’re doing it now. Hearts and minds are being won online all across the globe, and not just in this conflict. Check out the Israeli Defense Force Twitter account, for example. They tweet more than pissed off Florida State fans. At this point I’m just waiting to get a Snapchat of an airstrike with a big American flag emoji in it. Damn, that’d be awesome. Get on it, Department of Defense social media team..

11 years ago at 12:55 pmSwing and a miss. But like a tee ball coach who feels bad for the slow, fat kid who can’t hit a stationary ball off the tee, I’m going to give you one more swing. Want to try again?
11 years ago at 12:59 pmIt looks like the fat kid had an asthma attack and retreated to his Mom’s minivan to suck on his inhaler.

11 years ago at 1:09 pmAfter watching those videos, it amazes me that these fucks think that they can beat an enemy that doesn’t even have to be there to inflict massive damage.
11 years ago at 1:10 pmCorrection. Champion Florida state fans.
Besides that keep up the good work.
11 years ago at 1:13 pmThe State Department has a team of analysts that literally just troll ISIS on Twitter. Swear to God.
11 years ago at 1:13 pmThey should freelance the TFM trolls. ISIS would quit altogether in a matter of weeks.
