The Department Of Defense Is Tweeting Before And After Photos Of ISIS Targets The U.S. Bombed

BEFOREAFTER

This past week the United States, along with a coalition of Arab nations who would really like to nip this whole Islamic State thing in the bud, began airstrikes on ISIS targets in Syria. Not only has the U.S. responded to ISIS violence against its citizens and the citizens of its allies with force, but it also responded to all that ISIS shade being thrown America’s way on social media with a little Twitter game of their own, in the form of Department of Defense tweets showing before and after pictures of several targets the U.S. and its allies attacked.

And here’s some video to top it off.

To the credit of the sick, terrorist fucks in ISIS, they’ve been pretty adept at using social media, both to show off their accomplishments and to recruit new members. They are surprisingly tech savvy for a group that would like to establish a 9th Century theocracy. And, while this isn’t the first time the U.S. has tweeted out footage of military operations, it definitely makes sense that they’re doing it now. Hearts and minds are being won online all across the globe, and not just in this conflict. Check out the Israeli Defense Force Twitter account, for example. They tweet more than pissed off Florida State fans. At this point I’m just waiting to get a Snapchat of an airstrike with a big American flag emoji in it. Damn, that’d be awesome. Get on it, Department of Defense social media team.

Giving each target 24 hours to surrender themselves, and if they don’t, our troops say, “Fuck it,” and bomb the shit out of then like this, turning everything around them into ashes which will swept up into a large bucket and poured over a picture of the next target, starting his 24 hours, and so on. Call it The USA ISIS Fuck It Challenge…
