Sandwich shops are an important fixture of college towns. You take pride in your school’s sandwich, and why wouldn’t you? It’s delicious. It’s definitely better than other school’s sandwiches. It’s a thousand times better than your rival’s sandwich. FUCK YOUR SANDWICH, LOSERS. In a way it helps define both your school and its culture.

Thrillist did some serious research and found the best college sandwich shops in the United States. The list is pretty solid, and there’s a good chance that you’ve had a sandwich from at least one of the places below.

    The University of Minnesota’s selection is a joke first of all not the best on campus and even if erberts and gerberts was it wouldn’t make 14 compared to everyone elses’.

      Publix everything is amazing. Fuck Kroger in its ass. Ive always felt it’s trashier than publix. And I was going to say this list sucked until I saw the Mama Goldberg’s honorable mention. But Auburn should be before UGA since the one here on Magnolia was the original location

    Wasn’t sure if it would qualify till I finished reading, but Bagel Street Deli in Athens is definitely deserving. It’s the ultimate hole in the wall with the best hangover food I’ve had in my life.

    You know how I know this is wrong? Gus’s Good Times Deli in Knoxville isn’t on here…nor is McAllister’s or Newks in Oxford
