The Many Faces Of Devastation – Bama Fans React To Iron Bowl Thriller
Was that the most exciting ending to a college football game of all time? It’s tough to top Cal-Stanford’s “The band is out on the field!” game, but I’d say the 2013 Iron Bowl is safely in the top five, likely top three. It contained all the elements of a classic: bitter, in-state rivalry game, one second left with a potential game-winning field upcoming, national title implications, a shocking turn of events, unbridled elation, and of course, devastation.
Take a look at some of the devastation:
OSU is full of themselves being at a #2 position they have not earned. They’ll go against their first top ten team in years assuming they will win, and get blown out because of it. Everyone, even OSU haters, assumed they would crush an unranked Michigan; but they won because of a bad final call by Michigan’s head coach. We can argue the merits of stronger schedules all we want, but the most likely course of events will be Auburn playing FSU if they go into the Mizzou game with their shit together.

12 years ago at 6:55 pmThe only thing that matters to the SEC is football, and that’s why their grads to amount to shit afterward.
