There are two or three words in the English language that are to be avoided at all costs. One of those happens to be a racial slur. It is in the best interest of your company to avoid this one word at all costs. Seriously, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Well, the Patriots failed to follow this one rule. They hit the fuckup jackpot tonight when they publicly thanked a Twitter user who goes by a less than appropriate handle.

Ouch. They even made him a customized jersey. Fucking priceless.

This tweet remained live for far too long, long enough for the internet to catch hold of it and take it to places the intern on the other end surely did not intend.

I’m sure they meant no harm. No sane human would ever purposely stoke the fires like that. Either way, what’s done is done, and someone will surely be paying the price. Maybe they’ll be paying with their job, or they might be required to star in one of the NFL’s pathetic new tolerance videos.
