The Top 10 Richest People In The World For 2014, America Well Represented
Forbes just released a list of all the world’s known billionaires, all 1,645 of them. This number is up from 1,377 a year ago. Their aggregate net worth totals $6.4 trillion, as compared to last year’s $5.4 trillion. Eight of the top 10 are home grown, from right here in the great US of A.
Reclaiming the top spot as the richest person on Earth–after finishing with the silver medal the last four years in a row–is Bill Gates with a net worth of $76 billion, up $9 billion from last year. Gates has held the top spot for 15 of the past 20 years. Another notable is Warren Buffett at the four spot with a fortune of $58.2 billion.
If you’re wondering where Zuck ended up, as I did, he clocked in as the respectable 21st richest person in on the planet, with a net worth of $28.5 billion.
