The University Of Kentucky’s New Wildcat Logo Is Getting Hilariously Terrible Reviews

The University of Kentucky recently added a secondary logo to some uniforms to back up their iconic “UK” logo. I’m not entirely sure why it’s necessary to mess with the mojo of arguably the best college basketball program of all-time, but you know what they say: “If it’s not broke, fix it.”

At first glance, it doesn’t look that bad. Then, you read the caption on the Imgur post I embedded and you see something you can’t unsee.

Spot on.

While that is by far my favorite criticism of the logo, a close second is the comparison to a staple remover that many people are making.

If only they played in the Staples Center…

The new logo also looks remarkably like every cat-themed college team logo ever.

In the wake of this logo-inspired turmoil, Kentucky needs to act fast and remedy the situation. My solution? Go back to the old penis logo.

Everybody loves a phallus, Kentucky. Give the people what they want.
