There Are More Porn Stars On Campus Than Belle Knox

I feel like most guys would have “sleep with a porn star” on their bucket lists if they thought it was something they could pull off. These are girls who generally have similar sex drives to most of us, and they’re not afraid to put it out there, all over the Internet. Any girl who is okay with filming a scene in which she bones the pizza guy knowing it will absolutely be on the Internet, where your creepy uncle Joe from the Florida panhandle can stranglebate to it, is a girl with either very high self-esteem or a decided lack of metaphorical fucks to give. I can appreciate that. It definitely can’t be easy to know millions of people are watching you have sex.

Well, if that is an item on your bucket list, I have good news. There are more porn stars on college campuses than one would imagine, the most prominent of them being Tasha Reign at UCLA and Spencer Scott at another undisclosed school in the Los Angeles area. For those of you actually at UCLA, this doesn’t mean you can stampede to their places like you’re running with the bulls or trying to proposition them in the diner. Things like that are exactly why these girls use fake names for their screen time. That shit is creepy and disrespectful, and frankly, if you can’t come up with a better game plan than doing your own take on those Looney Toons wolf howl scenes, you’re a lost cause.

It isn’t terribly surprising that there are more than just a handful of girls doing porn on college campuses. I’m not counting “Girls Gone Wild” or those spring break photos in that Facebook album set to “me only” here. It pays well, it’s definitely an effective way to get attention, and it’s one hell of a “fuck you” to the strangely puritan ideas of sex that we’re still trying to work through as a country. It could lead to more porn stars being open about their careers, thus helping a lucky few achieve that bucket list item–hopefully without ending up an amateur porn star yourself. The more socially relevant part is that girls wouldn’t feel the need to reassure you that they’re “not that kind of girl” or “never do this kind of thing” because we’ll have stopped the ridiculous slut shaming shit, which will lead to more sex for all of us. Every good American knows that more sex is never a bad thing.

Other than Duke’s Belle Knox, it doesn’t seem like many girls on the East Coast are involved in the porn industry. This is unfortunate. We need to add this to the list of awesome things about California girls, and the East Coast needs to step up its game.

I can’t believe I’m giving it credit for anything, but nice move, California.
