9 years ago at 3:48 pmReed college is a great option if you want to 1. Be a huge geed or 2. Get addicted to Heroin.
9 years ago at 1:39 pmReed sends a ton of people to grad school, and has the only college student-run nuclear reactor in the country. Just because I would be massively outnumbered politically, doesn’t mean its not a high-quality school. Also Steve Jobs went there.
9 years ago at 1:43 amSince the military academies are free (taxpayer money) and you’re damn basically guaranteed a job as an officer upon graduation, that probably helped their standings just a bit
9 years ago at 1:42 pmIf a guaranteed job offer means required military service
9 years ago at 2:45 pmThey left out the Coast Guard Academy which is the same gig, same pay, same summer boot camp system, commission at graduation etc and yes the Coast Guard is a military service that deploys world wide and made the first naval captures of the war of 1812, WWII, and the War on Terror but yeah there’s Yale. They produce a dynasty of world dominating alumni so I’ll give it to them.
9 years ago at 6:02 pmWell it probably didn’t hurt
9 years ago at 6:19 pmAll I learned from this list is that there must be a plethora of shitty schools in Kansas.
9 years ago at 1:44 pmThere are at most six real schools in Kansas. An argument for four could very easily be made.
9 years ago at 2:17 pmGrinnell College is a liberal cesspool that doesn’t have Greek life and no one outside the town of Grinnell, IA gives a flying fuck about. I’d happily spend my time at ANY of the state schools in Iowa over Grinnell, shit I’d rather do meth at Iowa Western Community College than party in Grinnell.
9 years ago at 1:57 pmI would say this standard applies to many a state on this list.
9 years ago at 4:05 pmWaiting for the uva kids to start whining
9 years ago at 2:07 pmand W&M
9 years ago at 7:57 pmOberlin should not be on this list

9 years ago at 2:23 pmWas upset my cuse wasn’t the best until the military academy took it
