These U.S. Maps Show College Campus Arrest Statistics

I know you’ve all had a point in your lives when stealing bar wristbands and sneaking alcohol into the dorms was the norm. Unfortunately for some of you, certain universities care about enforcing the law a lot more than others.

A couple months ago, Roger Dorn posted the 2011 statistics from Rehab.com, regarding the colleges and universities with the most arrests of various crimes per 1,000 students. Rehab.com went back to work compiling the arrest statistics for schools across the nation and recently released their data from the 2012 school year.

As far as drug arrests go, you can trip your balls off in the western United States, but avoid the northeast at all costs as they seem to have a bit of a boner towards arresting druggies. The SUNY system alone holds four of the top ten spots.

For those of you who like to push the limits with a little on-campus boozing, you can get as blackout as your heart desires as long as you stay away from the SUNY and University of Wisconsin systems. Shout out to Keene State College for rising 109 spots since 2011. I guess they have to stay relevant somehow.

If you’re looking for a place that gives no fucks, the University of Hawaii is the place for you–consistently ranking dead last in drug and alcohol arrests per state in 2011 and 2012. On the other hand, South Dakota, Wyoming, and West Virginia are working hard to hold onto the shithole stereotype as they are taking home the gold two years in a row.

Finally, Grambling State is coming in hot, taking home awards in three categories in 2012. They rank fourth in burglaries, third in Illegal Weapons Possession, and first in assaults. Go Tigers.

I think it’s more probable that the type of chicks you find at the Ivy league schools are the type of girls who are really prone to yelling,”Rape! Rape culture!” etc.

Apparently answering “yes” to being a sexual predator is a prerequisite to being in the Ivy Leagues.

On the list by state, there are a total of 50, yet D.C. is counted among that 50. Which state got left off? Mississippi, definitely Mississippi

A historically black college coming in near the top in crime? Well would you look at that.
