This Map Shows Where Rich Kids Go To College

College is a great time. You get to spend four to seven years away from home to party, pick up strange, and do a little academics to get you a job after graduation. That’s not even the best part of it. You get to do all of that on your parent’s dime, if you’re lucky.

Unfortunately for your parents, college is getting pretty damn expensive. Mark Cuban can back me up that it’s only going to get more expensive with the vast amount of student loans being made available. With that in mind, Business Insider put together a handy dandy map to show which colleges are the most expensive schools in America.

A lot of schools I do not recognize here, so I will assume they are irrelevant. Some of these schools being on here don’t surprise me, like Duke, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, and SMU, among others. These are the schools that are loaded with money, as in truckloads of money. I’m talking about the kind of money you wish your dad had.

California’s Harvey Mudd College comes in as the most expensive college in America at a smooth $67,255. Do you think they upcharge so they can make this list, and people will know who they are? Gotta respect that move if it’s true. Wyoming takes the cake for the cheapest on the list, which begs me to ask: Would you pay $25,668 a year to go to school in Wyoming? I sure as hell wouldn’t.

Lastly, I have a bone to pick with Business Insider here. Has SMU fallen on such hard times that we can’t get an updated logo? This isn’t the mid-2000s.
