This Sorority Rush Video Sounds Like It Was Filmed At A Riot

BREAKING: Sorority girls are loud when excited!

Yeah, I know, this isn’t exactly shocking news. Still, I made the mistake of watching this video from the University of Missouri’s bid day with earphones in and I think the damage to my hearing is permanent.

Look at that flow of humanity. If it weren’t for all the colorful signs this could have been B-roll in World War Z. And the noise, my God. I’ve heard it in person many times before, but still, you never really get used to it. It’s so shrill and emotional that, if I weren’t seeing the events unfold in the video, I wouldn’t know if I were listening to the crowd before a Justin Bieber concert or rioting near an Egyptian women’s school. To be fair I’m pretty sure girls make the same sound whether you’re shooting water balloons or RPGs at them.

Oh, sorority bid day. You are ridiculous in so, so many ways.
