Seeing those pictures of Dirk and The Cubes getting shitfaced at the bar after the Mavs snatched the NBA Championship got me thinking about all those classic pictures of drunk athletes floating around the internet. They are people too, just like us, who get blackout drunk and don’t think before letting slams flash their cameras. It’s time to revisit some of those classic photographs, and share our feelings about shitfaced professional athletes:

    I’m usually not the type to get butt hurt over a little bit of humor, and I can certainly take a joke. However, as a Rangers fan and a Christian, I find the captions on Josh Hamilton’s photos very disrespectful. He overcame his addiction and has been a testament to thousands. If one were to see these pictures and assume that the captions literally meant that he was using again, it could completely destroy all that he has worked for, at least in their eyes.

      I’m pretty sure those pictures are from last year before he went to rehab. To rephrase was I think bropenhagen was trying to say, it is in poor taste to display those pictures now that he has cleaned up his life, since they purport him as an active user.
