Tiger Woods’ Private Island In Sweden Is Everything You Thought It Would Be And It’s For Sale

For those of you looking to get into the private luxury island game, Tiger Woods just put his 62-acre getaway in Lake Mälaren, Sweden, on the market. It has all the amenities you’d think a private island owned by Tiger Woods would have. Custom made golf hole? Check. Driving range with six tee-off areas? You know it. Landing strip for your propeller planes? Of course — would it be a real “luxury” island without one?

From The Telegraph:

The island also includes a secluded villa, hunting lodge, protected quay, private ferry boat, historic hill fort, pasture land for horses, stables and two small Skinnpälsarna islands with a water area of around 500 acres.

Tiger put this on the market because he “has no need for an island in Sweden anymore.” Crazy, I know.

Honestly, I’m shocked the island is still in his name. After everything Elin took Tiger for in the divorce, I would have guessed that this was included in her farewell package. Maybe their lawyers decided she would be just fine without it. That, or Tiggy took one of those call girls (or two) on the most romantic weekend of her life, making the place forever unclean in Elin’s eyes.

The price isn’t public, but it will be released upon request to those seriously interested. So to all you trust fund babies out there, move some numbers, get your assets together, and — who am I kidding? You probably still won’t have nearly enough to purchase this insane piece of property..
