Tim Irvin Switches Commitment To Auburn And It Probably Has Nothing To Do With This Stack Of Cash He’s Holding

Tim Irvin, blue chip high school football prospect from Florida, was committed to play for Charlie Strong and the University of Texas until his visit to Auburn over the weekend. While in Auburn, he switched his commitment to the Tigers and plans to officially enroll in the university this week.

Soon after news spread of his flip to Auburn, Irvin sent out a photo of him holding a stack of cash on his Snapchat story. That photo is below.

If those are all 20s, we’re talking about a few grand here–a lot of money for a high school kid to be holding. Something you need to know about Tim Irvin, however, is that his uncle is Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin. The kid’s family has money, which makes his reasoning for holding the cash very convenient, or shit, maybe it’s even the truth.

Tim went to Twitter to explain that the cash was a graduation gift from his family. He later deleted the tweet.

If the cash was given to him as a graduation gift or if he was greased by an Auburn booster, we’ll likely never find out. Either way, you can’t be hitting social media with this. College football recruiting is big business. People are going to tear you apart whether you deserve it or not.

How perfect would it be if Michael Irvin was a part of the “C’mon, man!” series on ESPN? We’ll have to settle on a different Hall of Fame receiver, Chris Carter.

Maybe he’s in the Gradation Club at school? And maybe he’s awesome enough at it to necessitate a gift from his family.

Dorn, since we are on the topic of money: on second thought you do have great hair. If you go to http://www.hairsellon.com, you will see that you will discover that there are people who would pay a small fortune for your hair.

But how much money can I make working from my laptop for 30 minutes a day at home?

Well, Helmet Tickets spends 30 minutes cut-and-pasting about 5 shitty articles which TFM then pays him $25 per article. So about $125.

      House Chef,
You just got Johanssened. You had 10 upvotes at the top. Frock itch came on scene and you went down to 4 and his .gif soared to 10.
      It’s funny to watch.

True, but I’m glad they gave him money, but they should’ve given him a father too.

Charlie Strong is more concerned about getting Holton Hill and Kris Boyd. If he lands those two, he’ll be better than having Irvin and either Hill/Boyd.

I gotta say this isn’t that hard to believe. A few grand isn’t that much for a kid who comes from money let alone has Michael Irvin as his uncle and it would take a special kind of moron to snapchat the money he received from a bribe to switch schools. Drug dealing or graduation gift are much more believable than him switching his commitment over a 3k bribe and then proceeding to snapchat it knowing it might go viral.

I don’t think a college would shell out a shit ton for a 4 star recruit..They save that cash for the 5 stars
